The Seren Roberts Memorial Golf Tournament and Fundraising Dinner 2013

Following the Golf Competition the Evening Guest were treated to a very entertaining Comedy show from legendary Welsh Comedian Colin Price, before being served up a delicious meal from  Bryn Meadows.

The Evenings main fundraising event then took place - the Charity Auction and Raffle.  This year combining both a Live and Silent Auction.  In total, the Auction raised  a staggering £2,299.50!  Of particular note was the Framed and Mounted signed Wales 2013 6 Nation Championship winners shirt which sold for £710, A pair of football boots signed by Gareth Bale, which sold for £250, and a massive dog Teddy christened Bryn which sold for £110!

Throughout the event, we also had the pleasure of being joined by our official event photographer Clare Price. A small snapshot of her work was displayed in the function room during the evening, which provided a perfect backdrop to proceedings during our activities, a few of which are shown below.

Additionally, Clare has uploaded hundreds of her snaps on her

website www.clarepricephotography.com where you can purchase any pictures, with a donation of any sales coming to us at Cardiff and Newport SANDS

Once more we would like to give our most sincere heartfelt thanks for everyone who participated in the event in any way.  It all contributed to a fantastic day
